Tried there, unfortunately that site says you have to be a resident for 90 days to purchase online. I guess I'll just have to try my luck at a local wal-mart when I get there.

Re: February 23rd, 2013 Club Ride - Windrock/Royal Blue

Two days to go! Just to recap what the Rooster said in the first post, this ride will be a LONG one as far as Club Rides go...80-90 miles.. Make sure you check out your machine and have it in top shape and be prepared for longer than average ride time, in between breaks. Bring plenty of food and drinks for the whole day. It could be late before we make it back to the parking lot. You will need to bring extra gas and have a way to haul your gas. Remember this ride will require two land-use permits. Windrock Park and Royal Blue.

Ride will leave promptly at 9:00 eastern time. We will have to leave on time, ride hard and steady, to make this trip before dark. If you are planning on making this ride, be un-loaded by 8:30. You will need to sign a waiver and be there for a 8:45 driver's meeting.

I'm looking forward to this ride and hope the weather cooperates. See ya Saturday morning....

There is a Permit Bldg in the upper parking lot near the other Shed.

For the other permit you will need, you can buy it at Wal Mart or on line. Just remember, you will need both for this ride.

If you go to the main section on the forum and under the - WATVC Sanctioned Trail Rides - section, the waiver is the first thing you see in this section. If you have a minor(s) with you, they must also complete a waiver. It's a pdf file that you can print off and bring with you. One for adults and one is for minors. There will be waivers the morning of the ride but to cut down on time, you might want to go ahead and print the form off in advance.

I printed it out. Thanks. I have another Question. Is the TDR registration the same thing as the Tennessee Resident ORV Permit (Type 036) which is $12.50 per vehicle.

No the TDR Sticker is not a permit to ride. It is only proof you paid the Sales Tax on your machine when purchased.

Also, it is evidence of title. It serves the same purpose as a license plate for unlicensed vehicles.
