Great ride -- got to meet some old friends, including one of the
ridge runners who helped pull the Hawg off me 10 years ago when
I tried to climb a high wall . . .
The rain wasn't bad -- rather have rain any day than dust . . .
I felt sorry for the guy who broke down -- it's never any fun
to not only have trouble, but to miss out on a good ride . . .
Got to get the Hawg in to BK in Oliver Springs to get brakes
front & rear -- when we'd stop for a break I'd have to park sideways
to keep it from rolling, and going downhill, low gear kept me
geared down to keep from running into anyone . . .
A slightly more challenging ride would have been good, but
at my age, I have to face the facts that the only trails I can
do any more are the easier ones -- oh well, I enjoyed them
while I could . . .
Again, a good ride, and many thanks to Tammy & Doug for making
it happen, and thanks to the KY boys for having us up -- they're
good folks . . .
